Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Lake Margarite. Big Brook is a good local stream, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Stone Dam Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Lake Margarite. Why not camp at Trail's End Campground since you're here       at Lake Margarite; a lake close by is Lake Charlotte. Lake Margarite is a pretty wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping is available at Trails End, and get covered with water paddling on Black River. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up                  to the Adirondack Mountains. Lake Gay is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Super 8 Motel - Utica is a great place to get some rest. The snow is fine at McCauley Mountain; Lake Margarite is right by the Forty Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Little Black Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Utica Red Roof Inn. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Woods Valley is right next door to Lake Margarite; folks from Utica-Rome love to come here.
