While you're here at Mallard Lake, you could also take a look at picturesque Blue Heron Lake; near Mallard Lake you find a golf course called Pound Ridge Golf Club. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mallard Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down       to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's while Mallard Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a nice spot to get some rest; if you came to camp Mountain Workshop is a fine place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Stamford Plaza Hotel and CC is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; Lake Susan is a nearby lake that you could have a look                  at. Mallard Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is typically the driest month.
