Makomis Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Weston Trail, and paddling on Boquet River is so much fun. High temperatures at Makomis Pond during the summertime are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Makomis Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.

| | hike on the Stimson Trail, and why not camp at Shearer's Riverside Campsite while you're here at Makomis Pond. The Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is great! Camping is available at Paradise Pines Camping Resort, and at Makomis Pond you can catch a sight of Catamount Mountain.

for people who don’t like to have fun. Ash Craft Brook flows through this region, and striking scenery and delightful skiing is what you acquire at Whiteface Mountain. An average amount of precipitation falls at Makomis Pond; of all
the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
