Sherburne Motel is a brilliant site to get some rest; the peak of Flagpole Hill can be seen from Madison Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Hotel; Mountain Top Golf Course is a golf course close by. Camping at Madison Pond is perfect fun, Hunt's Pond is a perfect local campground, and get covered with water paddling on Bowman Creek. So much cool stuff to do here at Madison Pond,       too splendid to be true. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Chenango Lake close to Madison Pond. Madison Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. Whitewater paddling is fine on Ouleout Creek, and Madison Pond is a brilliant place to camp, Canaan Campground is a brilliant place. For the period of the summertime here at Madison Pond, high temperatures regularly get                  into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
