Whitewater paddling is splendid on Mohawk River; Mack Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, TA-GA-Soke Campground is a fine local campground. Mack Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while July is typically the driest month. Oneida City Reservoir is a nice lake near Mack Pond, and one of the major marks of the surroundings of Mack Pond is Pond Hill.       Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Mack Pond. Fish Creek - East Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby; a wonderful lake like Sylvan Springs Reservoir is a nice location to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Mack Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Treasure Isle RV Park is a brilliant location for that; after a long day outdoors Oneida Super 8 Motel is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake                  is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Syracuse-Days Inn Canastota is a tremendous choice, and if you have the time, Fort Stanwix National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. At Mack Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
