This lake is so wonderful. Thunder Ridge is a wonderful local ski area; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Loch Lyall. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a delightful campground nearby, and you can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek. Summer at Loch       Lyall arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Loch Lyall fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Pond is a delightful place to camp; Loch Lyall is not the only place nearby, Catfish Pond is a nearby lake. The Thayer Hotel is a brilliant place to                  get some rest, and you can see Cat Hill from Loch Lyall. Loch Lyall typically gets much rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. While you're here at Loch Lyall you can play some golf at The Garrison Golf Club; if you're here you can take a hike along the Woodtown Trail.
