Lake Lucille sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Lake Lucille called the Woodtown Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River. Through the warm months       here at Lake Lucille, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, regularly in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Lucille. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Lake Lucille will keep you coming back many times. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Minisceongo Golf Club, and after a long day                  outdoors Fairfield Inn Spring Valley Nanuet is a great site to spend a night or two. Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground. Sterling Forest is a nice local ski area, and going for a hike on the Breakneck Ridge Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Popolopen Creek, and the top of Little Tor is easily observed from Lake Lucille. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Garnerville Reservoir near Lake Lucille, and Candlewood Suites NANUET-ROCKLAND COUNTY is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
