Lakes are splendid; Long Pond is a lake that's right next door to Lower Rhoda Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Oleana Family Camp Grounds is a delightful local campground, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roeliff Jansen Kill River. This lake is so wonderful. Bash Bish Brook is a magnificent whitewater spot in close       proximity to Lower Rhoda Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Northrop Trail. Lower Rhoda Pond is a good place of typical rain; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lower Rhoda Pond. Sharon Motor Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest, and do have a look at Punch Brook if you're here at Lower Rhoda Pond.                  Take a hike on the Indian Trail, and not far from Lower Rhoda Pond you'll find Upper Rhoda Pond which is a gorgeous lake. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Pontiac is a fine spot to camp, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Elbow Trail. For the duration of the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Lower Rhoda Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lower Rhoda Pond. Gotta ski! Ski Butternut is a wonderful spot to do that; Lower Rhoda Pond is not far at all from Hudson. The slopes of Catamount are so inviting noone can resist, and while you're here you can play some golf at Undermountain Golf Course.
