Lower Asuable Lake truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. If you need a location to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a tremendous choice, and you could always explore Elk Pass. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. A day on the slopes of Whiteface Mountain is just what you need;                  you can have a nice hiking adventure along the White Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Adirondack Mountains. This is a magnificent region for people who like lakes. Dix Pond is a lake around here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend John's Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Shearer's Riverside Campsite since you're here at Lower Asuable Lake; get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Ausable River - East Branch. A good nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Lake Placid, and Indian Cove is very near and is a nice spot to stop at. That right there is a lot of amusing things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Cascade Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. Lakes are good; Upper Ausable Lake is a lake that's close to Lower Asuable Lake. Lower Asuable Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Lower Asuable Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
