Lounsbury Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lounsbury Pond, and the night is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lounsbury Pond; Woodtown Trail is a delightful local trail; a lake close by is Petersons Pond. Go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail; a tour to Charles Point is always a delightful idea. There's so much to do here at Lounsbury Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond is a splendid spot for that, and as expected Annsville Creek flows through this vicinity. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek.
