    Go to Lost Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lost Pond is splendid fun, Kayuta Lake Campground is a splendid local campground; paddling on Moose River is so much fun. Best Western Sunset Inn is a great location to get some rest; the snow is good at Woods Valley. A good deal of precipitation falls at Lost Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
 
   This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is peerless! Head up to McCauley Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; on a good day you can take a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail. While you're here at Lost Pond you can take a hike along the Stone Dam Trail, and glide down the rapids of Moose River - Middle Branch in a kayak.
Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things
 
               to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Moose River Camp Grounds is a glorious spot to camp; some nearby water includes Otter Lake Outlet. Yeah, come here to Lost Pond for a magnificent time. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Lost Pond called the Twin Lakes Trail, and there are other sites here than Lost Pond, for example Brandy Lake. At Lost Pond all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Lost Pond tend to be in the 0's.
