Lost Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Pond is a great place to camp, Lake Chalet Motel and Campground is a great place, and do stop at Sears Pond, it's a scenic lake. Mountain Top Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Lost Pond, and if       you need a place to stay Gone Fitch Inn is a magnificent choice. Canaan Campground is a tremendous campground here. Columbus Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Lost Pond, and Sherburne Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest. At Lost Pond during the warm months highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
