The warmest time of the year at Lost Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Lost Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Here at Lost Pond you can see Columbus Hill. Lakes are great; York Pond is a lake that's near Lost Pond. Lost Pond is a nice location       to visit for more than one day, Mountain View Campground is a nice location to camp nearby, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Sears Pond is one of those nearby. Canaan Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Norwich Super 8 Motel is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Mountain Top Golf Course is a great way to kill some time; dry warm beds await you at Howard                  Johnson Hotel. Lost Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
