Go to Lost Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Going for a hike on the Norridge Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and drift down the rapids of Beaver River in a kayak. The yearly rainfall here at Lost Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. | | away. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Pond is a spot with many visitors from Ogdensburg-Massena. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Singing waters Campground; a perfect swamp close to Lost Pond is Desert Swamp. On a tremendous day at Lost Pond you can take a hike along the Post Henderson Trail; skiing at McCauley Mountain is one of those things you just should do. here at Lost Pond. There is a perfect hiking trail near Lost Pond called the Salmon Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a brilliant site to camp. For the duration of the days of summer here
at Lost Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lost Pond. Compos Creek is a good local stream, of course you could also check out Little Mudhole since you're here; it's not far at all.
