McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Beaver River. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Oswegatchie River - Middle Branch, and why not stop at a swamp like Desert Swamp if you're here at Lost Pond. Lakes are perfect; Desert Pond is a lake that's near Lost Pond, and there's some flowing water nearby, Compos Creek is a stream you can check out while here. The amount of rainfall that falls

Good hiking is available along the Post Henderson Trail; unsurprisingly, this is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Little Mudhole is a lake close at hand. can get bored here at Lost Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Pond; Salmon Lake Trail is a good local trail, and a delightful place to camp here at Lost Pond is Singing waters Campground. The Norridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Nicks Lake Campgrounds.
