a nice choice. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. If you're here, you might as well explore Conners Notch. There's so much to do here
at Lost Pond that you need to camp here for a while, High Peaks Base Camp is a great place for that. Lost Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA is a brilliant local campground; let's
not forget Kiln Brook which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. All through the summer months at Lost Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs all through
the wintertime are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lost Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Ausable River - East Branch is so much fun, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Leach Trail.
