La Chute River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; the view of Abes Hill is charming. Lost Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. A great nearby hotel is Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and Lost Pond is not the only location close by, Heart Pond is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bear Pond Trail; needless       to say Haymeadow Brook flows through this vicinity. Stay the night at Brookwood RV Resorts, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Pond; Lost Pond Trail is a splendid local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Berrymile Pond Trail, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Glens Falls here. Just can't get enough of Lost Pond. Swamps like Cranberry Marsh in the vicinity of Lost Pond make for good places to explore, and you must                  without doubt pop by Bald Ledge during your stay. Through the warm days of summer at Lost Pond highs are usually in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
