Take a hike on the Peaked Hill Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Magic Pines Family Camp Grounds is a great location to camp. The vista of Feeder Mountain from Lost Pond is gorgeous, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Pond; Weston Trail is a great local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Adirondack Mountains. If you get bored of Lost Pond, you could also take a       look at close by Birch Pond; what would winter be without some skiing at Whiteface Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stimson Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of The Branch. Throughout the summer months highs here at Lost Pond reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Lost Pond all                  through the winter frequently dip into the 0's. Ash Craft Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and why not camp at Paradise Pines Camping Resort while you're here at Lost Pond. Lost Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
