The beauty of Lost Pond is reason enough to stop by. The yearly precipitation here at Lost Pond is about average; during August this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. Places like Four Mile Meadow are great to explore; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boquet River. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a brilliant location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Weston Trail, and obviously Beaver Meadow Brook is a charming stream that is worth checking
out. All through the months of summer at Lost Pond highs are mostly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows
in the 0's to Lost Pond. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do right next door to Lost Pond. Lost Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a fine place to camp nearby, and if
you come at the right time of year, The Branch offers some tremendous whitewater.
