In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Pond is one of them. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lost Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. During the summertime here at Lost Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. adventure, and swamps are interesting places and Howe Marsh in the vicinity of Lost Pond is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. From Lost Pond you get a good view of Baldface Mountain; if you need a location to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a pleasant choice.
