Paddling on Batten Kill River is so much fun, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Lorraine; Williams Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western New Englander Motor Inn, and whitewater paddling is nice on Hoosic River. Lake Lorraine gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile       is the driest month. At Lake Lorraine through the summertime highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Lake Lorraine. If you came for an overnight stay Broken Wheel Campground is a delightful location to camp, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Banker Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake                  is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Lorraine without first going for a hike along the Taconic Crest Trail. This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Echo Lake is a lake close by; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Willard Mountain is relatively near. Midtown Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest, and magnificent hiking is available along the Southeast Hollow Trail. What a site this is for outdoors people.
