Long Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Scenic View Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Gore Mountain. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Hiking along the Spectacle Pond Trail is delightful fun. Lakes are good; Bennett Pond is a lake that's close to Long Pond.

| | after a long day outdoors Adirondack Park Motel is a splendid location to spend a night or two. The annual rainfall here at Long Pond is about average; through August this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Mayfair Resort Motel, and do visit Wolf Pond Brook while you're here at Long Pond. Through the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at Long Pond. Summer nighttime | |

lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Long Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Going
for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and hey, Gotta ski right? West Mountain is a perfect site to do that.
So much cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just
mind-boggling. A perfect place to camp here at Long Pond is Hidden Pond Campsite; there's whitewater on Schroon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Any time is a splendid time at Long Pond if you love the outdoors. Long Pond is right by the Pharoah Mountain Trail, and there are plenty of people from Glens Falls here.
