Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a good time. People from Malone love to come to Long Pond, and get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Raquette River. So much enjoyable stuff       to do here at Long Pond, too good to be true. If you get bored of Long Pond, you could also pop by close by Round Pond. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Jay Campsites is a great place for that. The amount of rain that falls at Long Pond is close to the national average; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking along the Sixmile                  Creek Trail is great fun; Long Pond is not the only spot nearby, Catamount Pond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Big Deer Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; Long Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Robinson's Iga is a perfect local campground. High temperatures at Long Pond during the summertime are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's.
