This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, St. Regis River - West Branch offers some magnificent whitewater, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lilypad Pond is just a very short distance away. This is a brilliant vicinity for people who like lakes. Little Rock Pond is a lake close at hand, and camping at Higley Flow State Park is always a perfect experience. Why not visit nearby       Sterling Pond Outlet while you're here at Long Pond; there are some nice whitewater spots on Jordan River. Long Pond gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Wheeler Marsh is right nearby, and a perfect location to camp here at Long Pond is Santa Clara Riverside RV Park and Campground.
