New York has many beautiful lakes and Long Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail. This place, Long Pond, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Have a great hiking adventure along the Williams Trail, and you can stay the night at Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Second Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Long Pond is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day,

| | Broken Wheel Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is great on Hoosic River, and if you need a site to stay Jiminy Peak is a good choice. Through the warm months at Long Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Long Pond. Hiking along the Taconic Crest Trail is nice fun, | |

and dry warm beds await you at Jericho Valley Inn. Paddling on Poesten Kill River is so much fun, and you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Willard Mountain. If you get bored of Long Pond, you could also check out
nearby Mill Pond; tremendous skiing awaits you at Jiminy Peak. Long Pond is a good spot of normal rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
