In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Long Pond is one of them. can stop at Central Valley Golf Club. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. Long Pond is not the only spot nearby, Sutherland Pond is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful.
Go for a hike on the Stillwell Lake Trail, obviously you could also explore Roe Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do next to Long Pond. You can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek
in close proximity to Long Pond, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a good local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Pond; Woodtown Trail is a glorious local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Peter, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Moodna Creek. Cranberry Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Long Pond, and some nearby water includes Long Pond Brook.
