If you came for an overnight stay Babbling Brook RV Park is a fine site to camp, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Malone is a great choice. At Long Pond during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Long Pond. Long Pond gets a normal amount of annual       rain; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. St. Regis River - East Branch is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Long Pond, and you're probably interested in lakes, Dexter Lake is one of those close by. The skiing at Titus Mountain is good. Mulholland Hill is clearly visible from Long Pond; you're sure to stumble upon some great people from Malone here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Santa Clara Riverside                  RV Park and Campground while you're here at Long Pond, and a nice close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Malone. So many cool things to do at Long Pond, so little time.
