What a nice lake Long Pond is. Long Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Yeah, come here to Long Pond for a nice time. Go for a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail; Adirondak Loj is a magnificent campground nearby. A short journey to Monument Falls is always worthwhile, and Barrel Bay is very near and is a good place to check out.
Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. What would a place

| | like Long Pond be without exciting close by traits like Moss Cliff, and if you need a place to stay Mirror Lake Inn is a tremendous choice. Long Pond is a good site of common rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Get drenched paddling on Ausable River - West Branch, and Connery Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore.

take a look at close by Lake Placid, and an afternoon playing golf at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club is always a diversion. A good nearby hotel is Lake Placid Club Lodge, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of
close by Whiteface Mountain. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. There are great places to look at along the Hopkins Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from
Plattsburgh here.
This place, Long Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Head up to Mount Pisgah and strap some skis to your feet; some of the water nearby flows, like Whiteface Brook. You'll in fact wish
for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Long Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's
with temperatures at Long Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Schwartz Trail is always a delightful adventure; if you came for an overnight stay Whispering Pines Campground is a pleasant place to camp.
