Mount Pisgah has glorious slopes and a friendly staff; not far from Long Pond you'll discover Coldspring Pond which is a picturesque lake. After a long day outdoors Mirror Lake Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; taking a little tour to close by Barrel Bay is a great idea. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. A spree to Monument Falls will fill your spirit with fine       feelings, and if you need a place to stay Lake Placid Club Lodge is a pleasant choice. Go for a hike on the Hopkins Trail, and of course Whiteface Brook flows through this region. Summertime at Long Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Long Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful                  Adirondack Mountains. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Long Pond is excellent! Craig Wood Golf & Country Club is a great golf course nearby, and pleasant hiking is available along the McKenzie Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Schwartz Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and why not camp at Whispering Pines Campground since you're here at Long Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Whiteface Mountain, and paddling on Ausable River - West Branch is so much fun. Long Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Having a pleasant time in the Adirondack Mountains is painless. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Lakes?
