    If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Long Lake. So much amusing stuff to do here at Long Lake, too nice to be true. Why not camp at Kayuta Lake Campground if you're here at Long Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Woods Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Long Lake without first going for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail, and Best Western Sunset Inn is a brilliant location to get some  
   rest. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is excellent! Good hiking is available along the Forty Mountain Trail; getting to Graham Creek from Long Lake is painless.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Lake; Twin Lakes Trail is a glorious local trail; if you come at the right time of year, Woodhull Creek offers some nice whitewater. From a rainfall point of view Long Lake is a reasonably typical place; August is when
 
               you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes? Sure, Brandy Lake is close by, and nice skiing awaits you at McCauley Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Moose River Camp Grounds is a pleasant spot to camp. Long Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Moose River in a kayak, and you'll meet a lot of people from Utica-Rome here.
For the period of the long summer days here at Long Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Long Lake.
