The yearly precipitation here at Long Lake is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. McRorie Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and here at Long Lake you can catch a glimpse of Landing Hill. But wait, there's more to       do close to Long Lake. Take a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail, and Long Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hoss's Country Campground is a tremendous local campground. A swamp like Big Marsh close to Long Lake has lots of attention-grabbing things to see; Kelly Point is in close proximity and always delightful to go to. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Woodlake Inn. For the duration of the warm days of summer                  at Long Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Long Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. While you're here at Long Lake, you could also stop at pretty Polliwog Pond; of course Big Brook flows through this region.
