From a precipitation point of view Lochada Lake is a quite common site; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lochada Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kittatinny Campgrounds; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go       skiing at Tanglwood since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Mongaup River; pleasant hiking is available along the Lost Cabin Trail. So much exciting stuff near Lochada Lake, simply astonishing. A splendid nearby hotel is RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford, and Sand Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Lochada Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Tel Yehuda is a glorious spot to camp nearby; if you're                  here, you could also stop by gorgeous Boyds Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Holiday Mountain; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bald Hill Trail. Delaware National Scenic River is a splendid place right next door to Lochada Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lochada Lake; Schiff Trail is a splendid local trail. Summertime highs at Lochada Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
