You can run the rapids of Stony Creek near Lizard Pond; the Oregon Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a pleasant time. If you came to camp Camp Dippikill Office is a wonderful site to do that, and a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is Roaring Branch. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming       back time and again. A wonderful lake like Garnet Lake near Lizard Pond is a great site to explore; one of the major traits of the surroundings of Lizard Pond is Mount Blue. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Gore Mountain, and do go to Fish Ponds, it's a delightful lake. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Lake George Resort is a great choice, and Lizard Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Sacandaga Campground is a brilliant                  local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lizard Pond with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Lizard Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lizard Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Lizard Pond. Thousand Acres Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel.
