The Oregon Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is fine on Roaring Branch. Everybody close by loves skiing at Gore Mountain, and playing golf is lots of fun at Thousand Acres Golf Club. Lizard Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Lizard Pond, clearly incredible.       Lizard Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Sacandaga Campground is a pleasant local campground, and a delightful spot to camp here at Lizard Pond is Wintergreen Lake Campsite. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Northwind Lodge is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and Stony Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is                  so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Black Mt Ski Lodge & Motel, and the sight of Mount Blue is charming. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rocks!. Lizard Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lizard Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
