Lizard Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You can run the rapids of Stony Creek near Lizard Pond; the Oregon Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a pleasant time. If you came to camp Camp Dippikill Office is a wonderful site to do that, and a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is Roaring Branch. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming

local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lizard Pond with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Lizard Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A

It is owned by Suny College Of Environmental Science and Forestry. There are no motors allowed on the lake. No fires and no overnight camping allowed. Dogs must be on a leash.
