In Bina Robinson's book about the founding of Swain Resort (With Our Own Four Hands, available at Amazon.com) there was mention of ''Last Will'' originally being named ''Last Will and Testament.'' In addition to ''Maverick'' the new cut-through between Maverick and Twister will be a blue square called ''Bandit's Pass''. NEW TRAIL: THE GLADE We have opened up some fantastic glade skiing & riding above 80-acres and between Dozey Doe and Ben Blakely. The Swain Snowsport Instructors have spent many hours clearning the underbrush so that ''The Glade'' can be official... |
