    Livingston Pond is a lake worth visiting. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Livingston Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering Pines Campground is a great local campground, and if you've had enough of Livingston Pond, Calamity Pond is nearby. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Livingston Pond. Have a great hiking adventure along the Van Hoevenberg Trail, and Cold Brook is one of the streams  
   close by that might be worth a visit. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Going for a hike along the Hopkins Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Ausable River - West Branch.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at Livingston Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one
 
               of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hanging Spear Falls is a lovely spot to take a look at while you're at Livingston Pond, and a nice place to camp here at Livingston Pond is Adirondak Loj.
This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Livingston Pond you come across Beaver Point, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Wallface Ponds is just a very short distance away. A nice close by hotel is Econo Lodge Lake Placid, and the slopes of Mount Pisgah are so inviting noone can resist. If you need a site to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a magnificent choice; if you want a little side trip, try Caribou Pass.
Summer at Livingston Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Livingston Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boreas River - Upper, and Algonquin Peak is delightful and can be seen from here. Any time is a fine time at Livingston Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Take a hike on the Indian Pass Trail, and Whiteface Mountain is a wonderful local ski area.
So much entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time.
