Livingston Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Livingston Pond is a good location of normal rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Stay the night at Whispering Pines Campground, and a good close by hotel is Adirondack Loj. All the outdoors amusing things near Livingston Pond

| | will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Livingston Pond without first going for a hike along the Indian Pass Trail. Mount Pisgah is a tremendous local ski area, and Cold Brook is close to Livingston Pond and is always a delight to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Livingston Pond has to offer, you can camp at Adirondak Loj, and Courtyard Lake Placid is a glorious site to get some
rest. The warmest time of the year at Livingston Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours
in the winter at Livingston Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Livingston Pond is unbeatable! There's whitewater on Ausable River - West Branch for all you adrenaline kick people; at
Livingston Pond you can distinguish Algonquin Peak. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Hanging Spear Falls since you're here at Livingston Pond, and good hiking is available along the Van Hoevenberg Trail.
There's fine hiking along the Hopkins Trail; the skiing at Whiteface Mountain is great. You can run the rapids of Boreas River - Upper right next door to Livingston Pond, and if you're here you have to explore Beaver Point.
