McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby, and if you need a site to stay Country Club Motel is a good choice. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunset Inn; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Lily Lake. In the event       that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. There's so much to do here at Little Woodhull Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Singing waters Campground is a wonderful place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Black River - South Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Stone Dam Trail. All year is a wonderful time in the Adirondack                  Mountains if you adore the outdoors. The Twin Lakes Trail is a good hiking trail close to Little Woodhull Lake; there's some flowing water close by, Clark Brook is a stream you can go to while here. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Little Woodhull Lake frequently gets a good deal of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Woods Valley. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Going for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure; Little Woodhull Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Adirondack Gateway Campground is a perfect local campground. At Little Woodhull Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
