Little Salmon Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. All year       is a great time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Black River - South Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot near Little Salmon Lake, and Little Salmon Lake is right by the California Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Knights Inn Little Falls is a great choice. Just can't get enough of Little Salmon Lake. A brilliant view of picturesque Raymond Hills is available from Little Salmon Lake, and if you like                  swamps you're in luck, Mile Vly is right nearby. During the warm months highs here at Little Salmon Lake reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Little Salmon Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail, and you can run the rapids of West Canada Creek. The high level of rainfall makes Little Salmon Lake a quite wet place; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
