When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Little Rock Pond. Little Rock Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. That right there is heaps of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Little Rock Pond is not the only spot close by, Clear Pond       is a close by lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga is a delightful choice; the summit of Bear Pond Mountain can be seen from Little Rock Pond. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Little Rock Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest                  month. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Adirondack Mountains. Little Rock Pond is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Green Acres By The Brook is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and good hiking is available along the Clear Pond Trail. Little Rock Pond really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Taking a little tour to nearby Ore Bed Bay is a glorious idea; don't leave Little Rock Pond without first going for a hike along the Rock Pond Trail. A lake nearby is Rock Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest; a cool spot to have a look at is Eagle Cliff. Brookwood RV Resorts is a tremendous local campground, and Putnam Creek is a great whitewater spot close by.
