Little Reed Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Little Reed Pond you hit upon Shagwong Rock which is a great place to visit, and Montauk Yacht Club is a good place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Little Reed Pond that you need to camp here for       a while, Timber Creek RV Resort is a good place for that. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Reed Pond has to offer, you can camp at Seaport Campground; you can observe Prospect Hill from Little Reed Pond. After a long day outdoors Oceanside Beach Resort is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and taking a little visit to close by Montauk Harbor is a pleasant idea. At Little Reed Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 80's.                  Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's.
