Little Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Little Pond you can take a hike along the Stimson Trail,       and The Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Little Pond you can take a hike along the Weston Trail; Pleasant Valley is nearby, and is a pleasant spot. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Little Pond called the Leach Trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you                  can always go whitewater paddling on Boquet River. Camp Normandie is a glorious local campground, and Russett Pond is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whiteface Mountain if you're here, and if you need a spot to stay Basin Harbor Club is a splendid choice. You can catch a glimpse of Green Hill from Little Pond; there are other places here than Little Pond, for example Lincoln Pond.
