Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stimson Trail. Lakes are splendid; Big Marsh Pond is a lake that's close to Little Marsh Pond. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. LeClair Hill can be distinguished from Little Marsh Pond, and Little Marsh Pond is a great place to visit for more       than one day, Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a great place to camp nearby. There's delightful hiking along the Dix Trail, and getting to Niagara Brook from Little Marsh Pond is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. The Leach Trail offers hiking at its best, and Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a tremendous place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Little Marsh Pond has to offer, you can camp at Paradise Pines Camping Resort,                  and if you need a location to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a wonderful choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Gore Mountain; paddling on Schroon River is so much fun. That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Little Marsh Pond has it all. Gotta ski! Whiteface Mountain is a delightful place to do that, and not far from Little Marsh Pond you'll stumble on Clear Pond which is a delightful lake. From a rain point of view Little Marsh Pond is a pretty common spot; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on The Branch, and Jones Beach is a beach nearby that you can go to. During the months of summer at Little Marsh Pond highs are typically in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
