What a nice lake Little Long Pond is. Here at Little Long Pond you can make out Brundige Mountain; a golf course nearby is The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There are swamps here too; Pine Swamp is nearby, and paddling on Popolopen Creek is so much fun. Little Long Pond typically gets a lot of precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest.

The warmest time of the year at Little Long Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through
the wintertime are usually in the 30's while Little Long Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. The Breakneck Ridge Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Little Long Pond, and pleasant skiing
awaits you at Sterling Forest. New Sebago Beach is a beach in close proximity to Little Long Pond that you can stop at, and camping is available at Robert Moses.
Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Ramapo River, and if you need
a place to stay Harriman Motor Inn is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Little Long Pond, you can go for a hike along the Torne Mount Ivy Trail, and a tremendous beach nearby is Old Sebago Beach.
