Summertime highs at Little Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Little Lake. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Little Lake. You can run the rapids of Plumb Brook in close proximity to Little Lake. Lakes are perfect; Boyd Pond       is a lake that's near Little Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena here, and Comfort Suites Canton is a wonderful site to get some rest. Good hiking is available along the Post Henderson Trail; Higley Flow State Park is a brilliant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's a great forest in the vicinity of Little Lake called Silver Hill State Forest, and a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Grass River. A great nearby                  hotel is Best Western University Inn; the summit of Dana Hill can be made out from Little Lake.
