A large amount of rain falls at Little Deer Lake; throughout August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. At Little Deer Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Little Deer Lake       are in the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. The snow is delightful at McCauley Mountain, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Party Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Budget Inn Motel is a great choice. Little Deer Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Adirondack Gateway Campground since                  you're here at Little Deer Lake, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Forty Mountain Trail. Concklin Brook is next to Little Deer Lake and is always a bliss to stop at; Finches Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Black River is a good whitewater spot close to Little Deer Lake; nearby you find the Twin Lakes Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place for whitewater paddling near Little Deer Lake is West Canada Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Trails End is a splendid place to camp. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Little Deer Lake.
