Little Dam Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. A day at stunning Old Sebago Beach next to Little Dam Lake is a fine thing to do, and you acquire a great vista of Buchanan Mountain from here. Indian Kill is a pleasant local stream; Lake Winape is a nearby lake that you could explore. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Moodna Creek, and camping is available at Robert Moses. Why not camp at Camp wabenaki if you're here at Little Dam Lake, and the Pine Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best. down to the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Little Dam Lake dip into the 10's. If you're here at Little Dam Lake and you like golf, you can visit The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge; after a long
day outdoors Holiday Inn Suffern, Ny is a good location to spend a night or two. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Little Dam Lake has it all. A lake close by is Mombasha Lake, and time spent at New Sebago Beach
is always nice. There's magnificent hiking along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Sterling Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Dam Lake; Kakiat Trail
is a great local trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Peter is a glorious spot to do that. The annual rain here at Little Dam Lake is about average; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
