Adirondack Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Crooked Lake; Salmon Lake Trail is a brilliant local trail, and you can hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain around here. Little Crooked Lake is a good site of common
rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February.
So much enjoyable stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just tremendous. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but
if it's for you then we recommend Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Norridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Mud Pond near Little Crooked
Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Summit Mountain can be seen from Little Crooked Lake; if you came to camp OLD Forge Camping Resort is a pleasant spot to do that.
If you come at the right time of year, Oswegatchie River - East Branch offers some brilliant whitewater, and do take a hike on the The Loop.
