If you're visiting Little Crooked Lake from Ogdensburg-Massena, you won't be the only one, and hiking along the Salmon Lake Trail is splendid fun. And that's not all there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Crooked Lake is around here; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Norridge Trail. The top of Summit Mountain is easily spotted from Little Crooked Lake; get drenched       paddling on Oswegatchie River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at OLD Forge Camping Resort if you're here at Little Crooked Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby McCauley Mountain. You definitely have to go for Little Crooked Lake. Going for a hike along the The Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and glide down the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch in a kayak. From a precipitation                  point of view Little Crooked Lake is a relatively typical place; through August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Little Crooked Lake is Robinson's Iga. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Little Crooked Lake. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Little Crooked Lake. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains.
