The yearly precipitation here at Little Bowman Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. of The Gipfel. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Poesten Kill River, and nearby The Notch is a good site to go.
There is a great hiking trail near Little Bowman Pond called the Southeast
Hollow Trail, and Little Bowman Pond is a good location to camp, Alps Family Campground is a good location. Man, is there loads of fun things to do right next door to Little Bowman Pond. Going for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain
Trail is always a fine adventure, and why not take a little trip to Cranberry Vly Creek while you're here.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Little Bowman Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. For
the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Little Bowman Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Jiminy Peak; glorious skiing awaits you at Bousquet.
