There are other locations here than Little       Ampersand Pond, for example Owl Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cold River. If you're here at Little Ampersand Pond, you could visit Cold Brook, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Van Hoevenberg Trail. Little Ampersand Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. An average amount of rainfall falls at Little Ampersand Pond; most of the rain falls all through August,                  and February is the month with the least moisture.
