A visit to Line Pond is always a good idea. The warmest time of the year at Line Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Line Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saranac River - North Branch, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Silver Lake Mountain Trail. Mountain, and do take a look at Loon Lake, it's a wonderful lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The summit of Haystack Mountain can be observed from Line Pond, and if you came
for an overnight stay Pioneer Village is a great location to camp. Just can't get enough of Line Pond. Line Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February
is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. A striking lake like Mountain Pond in the neighborhood of Line Pond is a great place
to check out; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Schwartz Trail. Don't forget to take a magnificent little journey to Oregon Brook, and don't forget to explore Horse Head Point since you're here.
