This lake is so wonderful. Lilypad Pond is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Medcalf Acres Campsite is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. So much amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. A splendid close by hotel is Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites, and a gorgeous lake       like Horseshoe Pond is a fine place to go to. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Honey Pond is a good lake in the vicinity of Lilypad Pond, and the Rock Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a fine view of Antwine Hill from Lilypad Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lilypad Pond; Treadway Mountain Trail is a pleasant local trail.
