This location, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Putnam Creek is a fine whitewater spot close to Lilypad Pond, and a lake nearby is Little Rock Pond. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Lilypad Pond rules! Stay the night at Echo Lake Southwoods, and you can go for a hike on the Short Swing Trail. So many cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. In the event       that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice. At Lilypad Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Lilypad Pond through the wintertime mostly dip into the 0's. Rock Pond Brook is a fine location to                  go to. There's so much to do here at Lilypad Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Medcalf Acres Campsite is a great location for that. Lilypad Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The amount of rain that falls at Lilypad Pond is close to the national average; throughout August this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lilypad Pond without first going for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rock Pond Trail; Lilypad Pond is not the only place nearby, Grizzle Ocean is a nearby lake.
