This is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes. Bennett Pond is a lake nearby, and a perfect place to camp here at Lily Pond is Hidden Pond Campsite. This lake is so wonderful. Schroon River is a tremendous whitewater spot in the vicinity of Lily Pond, and there are tremendous locations       to explore along the Long Swing Trail. West Mountain is a perfect local ski area, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schroon River. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Lily Pond. Lakes are good; Island Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Lily Pond; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Pharoah Mountain Trail. If you love the outdoors you'll love                  it here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a site to stay The Sagamore is a delightful choice, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Glens Falls here. Summertime at Lily Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lily Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Lily Pond Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at, and going for a hike on the Spectacle Pond Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
