During the warmest time of the year here at Lily Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lily Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Lily Pond you       can take a hike along the Schiff Trail, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Seager West Branch Trail. A fine place near Lily Pond is Frog Hollow, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Hunter Pond is just a very short distance away. Lily Pond generally gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Camp Rayim                  is always a great experience, and if you've had enough of Lily Pond, Mud Pond is nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. The skiing at Belleayre is great, and why not a little side trip to Mongaup Creek.
