This lake is so wonderful. A quick trip to Clark Brook close to Lily Lake is a glorious idea, and Lily Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Singing waters Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River - South Branch, and you can go for a hike on the Stone Dam Trail. This lake is       located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lily Lake. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; overnight lows during the winter for Lily Lake tend to be in the 0's. This place is peerless, just look at all the cool things to do in close proximity to Lily Lake. Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a perfect campground nearby, and if you've had enough of Lily Lake, Chub Pond is                  nearby. There are perfect sites to explore along the Twin Lakes Trail, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Little Woodhull Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Lily Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Good hiking is available along the Forty Mountain Trail, and gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you get at Woods Valley. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Gotta ski!
