A visit to Lewey Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are tremendous places to explore along the Sucker Brook Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sacandaga River - Middle Branch. Yeah, come here to Lewey Lake for a great time. Cellar Brook flows through this neighborhood, and a picturesque lake like Panther Pond is a perfect place to have a look at. This

You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lewey Lake has to offer, you can camp at Long Lake Camp; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Cedar River. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lewey Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Go for a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail; Pine Hill is clearly visible from Lewey Lake. All through the days of summer at Lewey Lake temperatures are regularly in the
70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lewey Lake are in the 0's.

 | 10 miles away Not sure where Plumley's Point is but I hiked the Northville Lake Placid trail about 4 or 5 miles north from Long Lake village and it was fairly well maintained (just a little overgrowth). At one point the trail runs into a bog/pond and the wooden planks are flooded over. You must make a detour to the left and bushwack to some rocks to cross (hiked June 09)...8/14/09 I'm wondering if anyone knows the trail conditions for the Northville Lake Palcid trail from Long Lake village to near Plumley's Point-... |
